BOLD Broadcasting officially launched WELJ as their first radio station on November 2, 2016. Serving as the East End’s first and only holiday station. Branded as �The East End’s Holiday Station’ 104.7 WELJ became the home for all of the east end’s favorite holiday hits. In the few short weeks of our stunt format, the East End’s Holiday Station played more than 4,000 songs, garnered thousands of online listeners (from all around the world), and has won the hearts of the East End community. As announced at 12 noon on December 26th, the “East End’s Holiday Station” became the “East End’s Easy Favorites”, a brand new format featuring artists like Barry Manilow, Whitney Houston, The Eagles, Phil Collins, and much more! With a new relaxing sound and a reminiscent library, the East End’s newest station made its public debut to serve the music interests of the Hamptons and North-Fork communicates. In the coming months, the new station will proudly introduce fresh personalities and local coverage in an effort to better serve our listeners.
